The found embroidery which forms the central focus of this piece is exquisite , particularly those bullion knots in the centre of the flower. It is joined by a piece of silk hexagon patchwork which is also Victorian and other antique fabrics.The surface has been further decorated with hand embroidery.The whole piece is hand stitched. This little wall hanging is designed to be hung straight on to the wall and rings are sewn on to the wall for this purpose. The textile measures 26 x 23cm
