The pansy fabric in this collage is unpicked from a nineteenth century French bouti. It is combined with other very old fabrics. French knots are scattered on the surface. This little wall hanging is designed to be hung straight on to the wall and rings are sewn on to the wall for this purpose. The textile measures 29 x 20cm
